Steffani and James have been with us for some time now. I was elated to shoot their engagement pictures, their wedding, and now to come full circle and have fun with this family session. Knight (small black Schipperke) was the honorary ring bearer at the wedding, so getting to see him again was a real treat too! Cora (Rhodesian Ridgeback) was new to the bunch, and full of energy only puppies possess. In talking with my darling couple, due to how busy Oyster Creek Park was, we decided to let the “fur kids” play.  I am so glad we did! The fur kids had a blast running back and forth, making faces at me when I blew loudly their direction or made elephant noises to throw them off guard. The results were playful, fun, “best day ever!” pictures in the park that will time capsule these moments for a lifetime. Thinking about having your fur child/siblings in the pictures? Come see for yourself how adorable it can be! This shoot was done in Sugar Land, Texas, during the colder months (early in the year). The park has this amazing transition it goes through, and leaves are on the ground for months, giving it this northern fall look, even though it’s our winter. We chose close to sunset because the warmth the lighting gives off makes everything glow with this sort of magic that only evening shoots bring. We minimized the props this go around, because with the fur kiddos, props weren’t really all that needed this go around. Enjoy!
