Bridals Fit For a Princess!

I met Becca through her sister Amy, whose wedding I also shot. Becca selected the Disney movie Up! as the theme for the wedding, and we knew the movie must be incorporated in the bridal session as well. If you aren’t familiar, every single person getting married should see the movie Up!. It is an incredible example of true love and relationships of sustenance, embracing the little things and a love like no other. With her engagement taking place in a hot air balloon, Becca’s bridals could be nothing short of out of this world. We didn’t want the theme to overtake the entire shoot. Her shoes in particular were just the touch we wanted.

Timeless Bridals In Historic Spaces

I suggested the Tomball Museum District for the shoot. It’s historic vibe and rustic chic feel make for an amazing shoot no matter the theme. The little white church, Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Historic Church, makes the absolute perfect backdrop! A well kept white gazebo on the property provides cover in case of rain, and of course perfectly shaded spots for headshots. The Tomball Farm Museum has the most incredible exterior walls. The patina to the wood gives both a rustic feel and a fantastic backdrop for white dresses and colorful outfits. In addition to the Farm Museum, there is the historic cabin from the 1800’s, with the most darling porch you have seen! It too is covered.

And a Personal Note To Finish the Shoot

While taking portraits, Becca made sure to point out that she wanted a picture of the tattoo on her back. The lyrics to the song she was dancing to at the wedding were scrolled in elegance down her back. So often, my brides cover their tattoos for bridals, and it was both refreshing and beautiful to see her embrace hers for our shoot!
