Though she may be small

She’s finally here! I was ecstatic that we had a little baby girl came along! I am in the middle of a sea of baby boys that have sprung up, and a little ballerina being born was my oasis in the ocean. Claire is the tiniest, most perfect little angel, and did so amazing for her shoot. As always, we do all of our newborn sessions at home, so mom and dad can take a break, and if baby needs anything, we have easy access to it. Be it food, diapers, or a wardrobe change, baby is just happier in their own environment. That, and the mom in me doesn’t want a baby out in the elements that soon. Got to keep everyone well! I brought most of the props out with me, and we used her outfits and the quilt we had in the maternity session, as well as Mom Elizabeth’s first quilt (the purple colored one)!

But she is fierce

Baby Claire did a splendid job for her session! We chose props that represented her, from a purple tutu I had, to the baby pink hat boxes I brought along. The quilts are both from family. I brought the backdrop, and we set everything up on the couch, so it was easy access to change, or switch sets. We even talked mom and dad into taking a few really sweet family pictures with her on the porch swing. In all, the sessions last about an hour and a half to two hours, because we work on baby’s timeframe, not ours. It came out absolutely perfect, and I can’t wait to see her grow!! I hope you enjoy this one, because it was such a treat for me to shoot. Don’t grow too fast little angel! Enjoy!
